Ken River Lodge is an interesting blend of nature, adventure and
relaxation. Surrounded by forests, this lodge is situated 2 km from Panna
National Park and 27 km away from Khajuraho in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
It provides its customers best of the both worlds, i.e. traditional
hospitality along with all modern facilities. The forest surrounding Ken
River Lodge is dry and deciduous, and is populated by Teak, Flame of the
forest, Tendu, Indian Ebony and Mahua. This scenic countryside is home to
numerous species of birds such as the spur fowl, treepie, Paradise fly
catcher, babblers and parakeet.
Excursions
Besides trekking and nature walks, vacationers could also choose
guided tours to Panna Town, Panna Diamond Mines, Kalinjar Fort, Raneh Falls
and Ken River Gharial Sanctuary. You could also plan your visit to coincide
with the Khajuraho Dance Festival so that you could get maximum out of your
trip to this part of the world.
Facilities
Deluxe Tent Accommodation (2 beds per tent) with attached toilet and bath
(hot and cold water facility) are also provided. Arrangements have been made
to conduct elephant rides and jungle drives to Panna National Park. Nature
walk, fishing, boating, star gazing through telescope, special interest
tours to historical sites and scenic locales are other activities planned to
keep you hooked to the place. Special arrangements and facilities have been
provided for professional wildlife photographers.

fishing gear, swim wear, cameras and film and powerful torches.
Access
By Air : Indian Airlines and various ATOs connect New Delhi to
Khajuraho.
By Rail/Road (Recommended) : Delhi to Jhansi by train. Onward to
Khajuraho by taxi or deluxe coach. There is exclusive deluxe bus service
from Jhansi Railway station to Khajuraho
